Enthusiasm and Momentum of KUrians on Independence Day

Sometimes people become much curious for the events that they have only heard about and had never gone to it and from time to time their curiosity makes very miniature events much valuable to them as compare to other s.
As I have gone through with it ,since the time I was not the part of  Karachi university  I was very  keen  to attend the 14 august celebrations  held  in there, as I mentioned above that it all based on your height of curiosity about a particular event .
As being a part of KU I have attended 14 august celebrations on 7th august (18th Ramadan). I was wondering that would it be celebrated with the same enthusiasm as ever before because it was arrived in the month of Ramadan but the   enthusiasm and momentum in KURIAN’S was  more than my hope.
On 7th august every department took out rallies and gets united at outside the admin block as was decided before, by the organizers. Students were full of passion, enjoying patriotic songs and singing national anthem in chorus, girls were voluntarily painting flag or green white strips on faces and hands, chanting slogans in acute sunlight but that did not deter the spirit of the KURIAN’S
After the accumulation of every department  at the admin block ,a rally of KURIAN’S marched towards the NED under a large flag to create a history of singing a national anthem of large number of students in a group, just opposite to the university lawn.  Both the organizers and participants seemed determined to mark and register a record into Guinness World Record for Most People Singing National Anthem.
A large Pakistan flag was courteously waving by young students of NED and Karachi University, none of the participant cared about gender, race, religion or culture and a political party all we saw people was as Pakistani. Even in times of heightened threats of bombs and violence the infant, all students stood together and sang with hearts out our National Anthem.
Yes, the voices were nearly perfect chorus with over flowing patriotic spirit, giving the message to the whole world that. ”We are a nation filled with spirit of patriotism and stand as one against evil and injustice.”
The day we smell patriotism in the air. In keeping with annual tradition, youth of Karachi once again found their hidden patriotic nerve as the 66th Independence day of the nation, on 13 august 2013 .This year also, as the previous celebrations, KUrians celebrated the day with traditional Enthusiasm.
Almost every department was in a buzz with the preparations as hundreds of students celebrated the Independence day with great ardor and fervor. The celebrations took up with flag hoisting ceremonies, national anthem and patriotic songs sung by horde of people. KU hosted the Independence walk with a large number of students led by the KU vice chancellor and faculty, marched from the university post office to the pavilion in front of the central cafeteria, where the VC Prof Dr Muhammad Qaiser addressed the participants.
He tried to take the attention of youth towards the technical grounds which can make our country lead in many aspects and made a hope that the country would be out of the crisis one day. Moreover, students of Karachi University organize a cake cutting ceremony, with a 500 pound cake in Art’s Lobby and the honor of cutting the cake was given to VC Dr. Qaiser.
Moreover, students hung a 200-feet long flag of Pakistan from the Administration Block to Arts Lobby. Our original tone and a different perspective was covered by all the news channels, and took a part in world News.

Although after participating in both the celebrations my curiosity come to an end but my love and dedication to my country will always be vital to all.

It is wonderful to see our youth as a nation. And together we can prove this to the whole world that no matter in what situation our country is, we are united as one nation and we still care and love our country.
