                                   TEMPTATION....

Temptation of life .Temptation of senses awakes with the changing of weather ... this done with me a day... with the opening of my eyes there was silvering outside ,the sky was hidden in the bulk layer of clouds and the slow rain was enhancing brightness of my heart... me without wasting time sit on my bed and start to see outside...everything was looking glee...I was finding my cell phone here and there of my pillow and hold it fast when found...started texting to my friends and make them awake to enjoy the pleasant weather outside.... in a few moments we all buddies were in circle and were busy in gossips and chit chat....me having mug of hot coffee in my hand ...was seeing outside and every colour of surrounding were giving me the spark of energy.

I after sometime like a ping pong ball ran to my mirror ,have a look on me by turning around and started to ready  fastly for my uni....in the rashness of my energy I even forgot to take my younger sis with me and was just to left when mama call me to drop her in school on way...I with the sad face waited for her in car but was happy to see the weather outside....as she came to me I started the car and was on road in a moment....everyone was there in a charming mood and I was in constant connection with ma friends... was saying them to bunk the class and plan to chill up in the open atmosphere.

As I reached the uni ... parked my car in a rough way and rush to the department to meet with my friends...I met them all and try to involve the whispering that was rinsing there... everyone was talking in her own and nobody was listening completely to anyone....at time I came among all and whistle to go out for enjoyment....everyone was ready in the blink of the eye...we just hold our bags, even pouches that day ,in no books condition and came to car ...we all were large in number but tried to squeezed and settled in the car...however the doors were not completely closed...I started the car to move...we decided to have some from outside but then we moved to seaside...because I love to  have rain in the fast waves of shores.

There we did lots of fun ,discarding the fear of cities law and order ....had horse riding...took some refreshment from there and lots of gossips by sitting on sea shore...the fun stopped when I received a call.. And someone in a harsh voice scorch my feelings...actually that was my mama who was rude on me because I got late to pick my sis from her school....I rushed back to car and filled my car with my friends...speedup to reach my uni.....at uni gate I don’t betterly see off them...and turned myself towards school...where my sis was waiting me on gate in a rude way...as I picked her ...she threw his bag on back seat and started fight with me...after reaching home I parked my car efficiently... back to my room and tuned a movie with the popcorns in my hand....rest of the day surfed in the glee and enjoyment with the family...

Moments made Ur moods and something’s tends you to do something...that day weather make me the electric girl and I in thrill did lot of fun with my friends...

SEMESTER SYSTEM OF KARACHI
UNIVERSITY

I am a student of Karachi university for 2 two years. It was a good time spending there I like to spend my time there with my friends. Studying with my colleagues enjoying everything and also then tension of examinations or semester. After that desire to know the results of papers. Everything is too good but one thing which irritates me is that the one paper which fails or absents due to any reason have to attempt in next year.
This is the most frustrating thing for any student to wait for a year to attempt any paper while I observe in many other universities there is other chances to attempt the paper in which students didn’t have success.
Let’s take an example of our neighbor university N.E.D in which the students get two chances to attempt any paper in which they fails or absent. Also there is a supplementary schedule for those students and then in next semester.

This is just for the inspiration of students so that the students do not suppose any burden by the studies and never feels weak for studies.

Many of the students in Karachi university leave their education due to year back .They thought they cannot clear or pass the examination and never get the degree .But if they get another chance to attempt those paper before one year they will not leave education and becomes a well educated and literate part of our society. I wish that Karachi university should have make such schedule and system in which students can get at least one more chance to attempt the papers which fails or absence.

A TALE OF EVERY SECOND KARACHIITES
It’s getting late; I wonder why Baba hasn’t come home yet. I ask Ami if he’s called she says no. My mother’s face doesn’t betray any anxiety, but i see her stealing glances at clock every five minutes. I pick up the phone, and dial his number but no response.
Many thoughts rush through my head; he’s probably busy. But; my brain reels; why didn’t he just reject the call then? Perhaps he didn’t hear the phone or maybe he just forgot to put it off silent, but deep down I know he never puts his phone on silent, not even during meeting.
I wait a few seconds, convincing myself that it’s been a few minutes, and I try again. This time it doesn’t ring at all, his phone’s off. No longer convincing myself that everything’s all right this time, I immediately enter panic mode.
Why is his phone off? I bite my lower lip, and start picking my nails, a childhood habit that crops up whenever I’m feeling particularly anxious.
Surely, his battery must have died, he’s been out all day and it’s completely possible. I gave up all pretence and tell my mother his phone’s off.
I run to the TV, take the remote from my brother ignore his angry retort and turn to a news channel, no reports of bombs or any such incident not in Karachi anyway. I distractedly notice that the red strip at the bottom is showing something about an attack in Quetta, but I selfishly turn the TV off.
I have more important things to worry about right now as I have no idea where my father is.
I get off the couch and pace back and forth, holding my cell phone in my hand. Dialing and redialing his number. My mouth feels dry.
It’s really getting late now, why hasn’t he come back? What could have happened to him? Why isn’t anyone answering the door bell? I run to the door, and fumble with the lock for a second before it opens, revealing my father, all 5 feet 10 inches of him.
I yell over my shoulder that he’s home hugged and ask where he’s been and why his phone’s off. He sighs and tells me he got MUGGED an hour ago.
It is a testament of the irony of living a Karachi life that I sigh with relief. In Karachi, where crimes are measured according to the relativity of their danger, a mugging is really not so bad.

                           Memorable One......

Being writing something about the person who has influenced your life is a difficult task. Thousands of thoughts flooded up the mind and no appropriate words to express the actual thing. While writing about that person I felt myself being over flowed by the respect and honor.
I first saw her on the day of orientation. She was sitting on her seat with all her grace and gratitude. A mesmerized smile on her face, eyes lightening with the purity of her soul and gracefully dressed up. A glance at her is simply enough to built a positive opinion about her.
When she came up to the dice and introduce herself. The way she spoke was telling that how much she is educated. The first word came up to my mind for her was “Truly Literate”. Yes, this was the term that fairly suited her.
The attitude and groom in her personality let the students walking in the corridor stop, and those who are sitting to stand and greet her and she replied everyone with her graceful mesmerizing smile. We all know what a smile by a person can led to the people “Positivism”.
I was not much satisfied with where I was and even I was thinking to quit my studies. She is the one who motivated me and turn my attention towards the new way I could find to reach where I wanted to be. She said, “Take a chance before you give up!! There would be something very good and fruitful in the end.”
Then I started working on it. I set up a new way to my destination, work hard and hard. I won’t say I have strike my goal but yes I am headed towards it. I have made a way to achieve it, to make it possible.
I have surrounded by some of such good people now even. But I remembered that lady always who became my motivation. I can say she is the most beautiful memory that has given by the KU to me.

                                              Think for Pakistan

About 73 year ago, the Muslims of subcontinent desired to have a haven within India. And they started struggle to spend their money, forgo properties and unsaved their lives to get that place of safety for us.
Where everyone gets respect, peace, security and life of their choice.

It was uncertain to achieve the destination but, only within the spell of 7 years our forefathers made a country named “Pakistan”
Those 7 years are only for us and for rest of the world, but, for them, those years were more then 7, 0000 years.
If I start to write the sacrifices of those 7 years, 1st, I will not find the particular words to describe the hard work. 2nd, I do not have that ability which compliments their efforts. They gave every thing for this country without expecting any thing back.

But, for which country?
The 7th most dangerous country or the 33rd corrupt nation in the world.

Where people kill their own brothers and sisters burns their own properties some time in the name of Islam and some time in the name of Pakistan.
When world reached on moon and was thinking to setup colonies there   , Pakistanis were fighting for sighting the moon on Eid and Ramadan.
When world enjoys high technology, Pakistanis face the blockage of mobile signals and YouTube.
When world enjoys electrical cars, Pakistanis wait for the day when the energy such as electricity, petrol and gas is provided in their city.

It was neither the dream of Allama Iqbal, nor Qaid-e-Azam wanted to make Pakistan like this.
Then who wants to destroy Pakistan.
India, Isrel, or USA,
It sounds very simple but, I think it is not true.

May be some time back they wanted to do this, but, not now, because they have so many other things to do. And because we have taken this task our- self by not performing our duties and responsibilities.

Think about this or

Wait for supernatural power to intervene.  But, supernatural    power rarely   comes in the real world.

MY MINI WORLD!!!

My university is a mini world for me its KARACHI UNIERSITY
Karachi University has a main campus which sprawls over 1,800 acres, a small town in itself. It has 52 departments and 3 faculties, and I am a part of this small world. YES! I am proud student of “KARACHI UNIVERSITY”
Besides, local civilians many people came across the world to study here as it has many fields of education.
Karachi university has many factors which makes me proud to be kurians,
First of all it’s teaching staff and faculty members are well experienced and educated.
Secondly it does not provide only an  academic environment but also for student’s interest it organizes many events like Pegham e Aman, Book fair, Students week, Independence day and much more and for the last 1.5 year I am attending all the events and having a lot of fun beside education.
Karachi University has a signature cuisine that has become famous. The mini samosas served straight out of the fryer in the university’s own food street ‘Prem Gali’, to the halwa puri and other luncheon options at Majeeday, besides there are many tuck shops, cafes and eating from different departs tasting all the specialties of all departs is my all time favorite activity.
As I am also interested in historical things so here again there are a number of museums on campus at different departments including Zoology, Geology, History and Sociology where rare artifacts and cultural items are on display. Not to mention Karachi University has its own botanical gardens as well, and these gardens are so beautiful...I visited many times.
Karachi University has one of the largest libraries in Pakistan. Its central, Mehmood Hussain library has close to 350, 000 books, including the personal collection of the Quaid, Mohammad Ali Jinnah and It’s a very calm place to study and every type of book is available there.
My department Masscom also operated the fm 90.6 fm radio and has its own printing press.
Although I don’t live in the university hostel, but I like that there are many hostels inside the university.

I am a proud student of my university and I am having a great experience of studying in Karachi University. I am not just studying over here as I am also gaining the best experience of my life.

Fascinating charm: a chinchi
Sometimes you just sit by your window and memories take you away in the past times. Today it happened to me once again though I was not sitting by window I was in chinchi by the way.

I am damn in too much love with chinchi. I suppose to travel by chinchi twice a day. It makes me feel like more Pakistani while travelling in chinchi. It is so colorful and a joyous ride with a lot of it’s desiness you know…… the decorating stuff of mini buses lol what to say about this.

I traveled by chinchi for the very first time on the very first day of my university. I was unable to control laughing aloud as it looks like everyone is dying to get in the chinchi however those every ones were travelling by their own. Especially ones riding bikes it seems like they are just about to hit you.

It is also the scariest ride I’ve experienced ever. Yesterday a really fat girl and when I say really fat I mean it, anyway she was sitting beside me in chinchi she scared a hell out of me. I was praying GOD! Please no, not that early….. I was scared that this chinchi is going to put an end to my life or will just send me to have a look at nearby hospital as the chinchi is always ready to let you to the road directly and if it’s overloaded end of the story.

I personally think chinchi depict the happy go lucky nature of true Pakistan. I Share seats by the passengers I don’t even know, they are mostly not of my type or standard or sometimes they are maids who share that seat with me, sometimes school going kids, teachers oh it’s a never ending list. All of them share not only their seat with me they share their life for a short span but it doesn’t matter.

Chinchi is although a Chinese invention but it is so made for Pakistan stuff. A little roller coaster believe me it’s a worth trying ride. Try it at least once in your life you’ll love it. the more I travel by chinchi I more I fell in love… my love for chinchi is never ending !!!

                                     Unforgettable Moment

It was 19thaugust 2009.I was in school and was attending myUrdu period. Everyone was in a very good mood because we had completed our reading and had started aamusing discussion on it our teacher was continuously advising us to be quiet but despite of finger on our lips we all were talking.

Than one of our teachers called two  of my class fellows ,they returned with a pale faces having a paper in their hand. And suddenly the atmosphere of the class changed when they said “9thka result agayahaiaurmaam roll wise sub kobularahihai” the class, which was a fish market a sec before turned into adeadly silent place.

Everybody was looking to each another askingin a very low voice “who’s next” and very unluckily, I was the next. I had started shivering and was not even in a condition to stand .Although my papers went awesome  but I was sure that  I have failed if not in all than I must have a supply in 1 of my paper.

When I got my mark sheet “amalnama” I saw a passing marks instead of obtained marks and that were 25 25 25 25 n 25 I was totally shattered and was about to cry on my consistency of 25.

Then the time of the most embracing situation came when I entered in a class room I straightly went to my seat keepingdeaf ears to eachquestion, handed over my marksheet to my friend and start crying. Everyone was feeling very sympathy for me without knowing that I haven’t calculated my % yet.

As I was very sure for my supply I said my friend “mujhy mat batanakyaaya” she slapped me and said you got 84% why r u crying. I suddenly turned to her “really” and wiped my tears with a funny smile.
People who were feeling very bad for me after knowing my result said “what you have done drama queen “
Agree, it was such a big drama which was started with breath taking moment, and ended with full of happiness and smiles.

And yes, the whole class was turned to a fish market again, and for the next 6 days we had make our whole school a fish market by distributing a “meethai” in our school.

Never judge a book by its cover – a tale of an overseas Pakistan

Usually, my life moves on a moderate speed. Same routine goes on day by day. I go to university in hope of gaining knowledge but end up coming home with nil. Sleep. Watch TV and THINK, in fact a lot of thinking takes most of my hours in that 24hour cycle. If someone tells me 2+2=4, I have to know how & why? Simply because ‘curiosity kills!’
I have always had this impression about Pakistanis, where in no matter what situation they are in, they always tend to stand up for their country. They whine yet never think less of themselves. However, lately I have started to think adverse.
The last two years of my life have given me bitter sweet experiences. They have also made me think things through in a different perspective.
I have had met Pakistanis who think Pakistan can never change nor do any good. I know such people are not hard to find, but the reason why it amazes me is the fact that they have been born and brought up in Pakistan. The country which gives them their income, the one which provides them shelter and the one which gives them their identity!
Yet, it holds no credit in their life.
They whine about how our society adapts the western culture yet judge a person solely on the fluency of their spoken and written English. They talk about the youth making a difference yet keep discouraging them and state examples of the west to motivate them to become better. (From here on I am going to refer to such people as The Whiners for better understanding.)
Don’t get me wrong! I am not an anti-western, anti-English person. In fact I myself feel comfortable in a T and jeans. I can’t even properly pronounce words in Urdu. But that’s not the point I am trying to make.
The problem is The Whiners do not understand that the person they may be judging on the way they talk in English might just be a PhD in Urdu. Maybe being able to talk in proper English was never his/her priority.  Or the person they were just discouraging can be the next Shahid Afridi. Someone who made Pakistan proud, in short made a difference!

Eventually in the end, The Whiners are left with nothing except another bunch of people they can judge and discourage. And all I do is pity! Pity a few friends of mine who think the same, pity myself for being taught by professors who think the same and pity my country for having to hold such individuals.

                            Scary Halwa puri

In life there are some things which is unforgettable. Some old memories and specially the time which you spend with your friends. Here again I am going to share one of the best moment of my University life with my group which I already told you about. (apple group the name of my group). Well it start like we all were present in university, all was planning to go out for outing and for some fun but before we finalized our plan one of my friend got SMS that there is a clash in University. We got scared that now what will we do, we don’t want to go back home because we all were in good mood. But for security we girls thought we should go home as soon as possible. But then our group decided to have a breakfast together and then should leave for home. Within 10 to 15mins we all left the university for breakfast. We all in mood to have “Halwa Puri”. We went out and with loud songs in car we all were having so much Fun. First we thought we should have halwa puri from we are purchasing that.

But boys in group want to have halwa puri in university, we girls were not agree but later on we said ok lets go university and have breakfast because we all were hungry that’s why agreed.
In next 10mins we were in University, we all were scared as there was no one there, we all were thinking now where should we have our breakfast. We all were looking for any canteen and we saw a open canteen which was near V.S. All were happy to saw that like it was haven for us. But still we girls were afraid of clash. Boys were free they said leave tension have halwa puri then will see what to do. We said yes right, we all start to eat halwa puri but tension in eyes. Boys were enjoying it and we girls just wondering by turning our faces left, right after every bit of halwa puri.

As we ended our breakfast my friend who told us about the clash ask us how was the day, we said wasteful day, just wishes to be safe only. He said really is it so. We said yeah why are you asking it? He replied because there was no clash in university I was just having fun with all of you. We all got so much angry on him and start throwing stones ( small ones haha ) in fun. After that we all tried to get back to home. That day we did lots of fun n breakfast in horror.

But that day we got to know that never believe on any one until you don't confirm that. Friends are friends we cant forget the time we spend with them. Now when ever i eat halwa puri i recall all this which was done by my friend.

                          A SUSPICIOUS DAY

It was 1st day after eid vacations. Normally at our university there is no class on first day. It was our 4th semester only me and one of my friend were present from English section so we joined our friends from urdu section and then sudden a lady comes with a file in her hand. We all ignored her as we thought she is student here. Then she asked from the girls who were sitting next to us, she asked them, “are they 2nd year students?” they said no. We all said here we are, she again asked, “all are from English section?” we replied no, my friend said just we two are from English section.

O.m.g then she shouted on us, “then what are you doing here? Don’t you know your class time? Don’t know your class room? Go and check on notice board.” And we were like ‘who is she’. Well like a good students we went and checked the notice board but still did not saw the timetable we just act as we obeyed our mam. As we turned back she was there, we both don’t know what should we do whether to smile or not on over act. Well as she saw us she asked. “seen timetable?” we replied yes. “Which time is there for your class?” we said its 9am as all morning class start at that time. Then go in class and wait for your teacher she said. I was thinking that then who was she? If she was not our teacher then why she scold us? Well we both just thinking these question take our ways to class. And she was with us, she hardly took 5 min class and give us her intro, told her name and about our subject. And some rules which we have to obey. She showed as she is so cruel lady or like she don’t like students.

As time passed she started teaching, she teaches us mass communication ,our major subject. What all we were thinking about her was wrong. She was so kind and helpful teacher. May b that day she felt bad on her class because only two of us were present. But I was also a teacher when ever children don’t come school I feel happy that today I won't have any work load. But everyone has their own thinking. Today that teacher is my 2nd most favorite teacher I got in my life. I do respect her as I do for my parents. Only few teachers are there who actually want to teach others, they know their responsibilities towards their students. Otherwise I have seen many teachers who just teach as they get there pay. that’s not good . If you are doing anything do it with faith not like a burden on you.

The person who make me conscious ,suspicious was actually my teacher ...who taught me in real how to manage punctuality ,honor
and respect in class. This is an attribute to my most favourite teacher whose internal kindness induce me and in fact in all students ...respect for her and lots of interest in her subject!!

"MISBEHAVES WITH HONORABLE NAMES"

We all know that we are Muslims and our homeland is the second place in the world history which is come into existence on the behalf of Islam. This is the fact that the technologies has been totally change the environment of our life style as being a Muslim but at all we are belong to a very honorable religion and respects our ALLAH and his prophet MOHAMMAD (sallalla O aleh wasallam) and all other prophets of ALLAH .for identifying our reorganization we all having the names on our ALLAH and his beloved prophets.
Now after having these names ,, Are we giving real respects and honour to these precious names?
In my opinion NO no nO. I personally observe that we talking about that we love our ALLAh and our Islam but do not giving respects to his name. I often found the urdu newspaper from roads and streets on which there is dozen times written the names of my ALLAH and his prophet (p.b.u.h) and that are coming under our feet’s and vehicles roaming on the roads . i always pick these thing and let it to the safe place .
Not only this i also seems that in catering and canteen and any other things the shopkeeper eventually uses urdu newspaper for sailing his things and never tried to read ones that there is also the name of our ALLAH who created us. and the people purchases any items into these newspaper shoppers and throws them into dustbin or footpath and misbehaving with the name of ALLAH .
Also we named our roads and street on the name of ALLAH and MOHAMMAD (p.b.u.h) and that names written in the brand of any thing or a visiting card and after using these stuff we throw them ,i also realized that we also having names on ALLAH and never tries to know the meaning of the word and say it incompletely for example: RAZZAK ( rizk deney wala) its complete name is ABDUL RAZZAK and there is a lot of names which we dont have to call incompletely it is the misbehaving with the names of our ALLAH .

after seeing these things my head bends down with shame that we are the Muslim UMMAH of MOHAMMAD(sallalla O aleh wasallam) .In my opinion this the main reason that we are degrading in the world day by day . We are just becoming the Muslims by name only ? in other side i see that the one who misbehave with our holy book (QURAN) we becomes united and comes on roads for protest and here we are our self misbehaving with the one who is the creature of every thing, the most superior name of this world, please take care of every things on which the name of ALLAH & his prophets written and never throws them into dustbin and roads or streets. And also when ever you see any type of urdu newspaper or any thing on which you are doubt that the name of our ALLAH and his prophet can be mention please put that to any safe place .

                      GOOGLE  ADDICTION

Why I am writing a blog on Google when I have a lot of other topics to choose, but the fact is not just becoming common nowadays, but also part of our lives as well specially for me.
From my childhood I heard about Google. What is Google? What does it do, does it answers all my questions? And guess what now Google is not just answering my questions but also it becomes my best friend. Yes, surely it is I usually use Google before ask stupid questions to someone.
Google is not just an application but it is my conversational tool.

  • ·        A guide to me with its map
  • ·        Informative for me with its search
  • ·        Google translate languages for
  • ·        Recommends me and allow me to read online books with its Google book
  • ·        And much more on Google which I use it for my personal benefit.

  • Google saves a lot of time for me on just one click it solves almost all of my problems.

GOOGLE EATS TOO MUCH:

Although Google is not a human but it has more space than human mind. It collects information from all around the word and uses when I need the most however it does not answer all my questions accurately but gives me hint or slight idea towards my problem. Google is too big to be smart and always ready to continue to be smart.

AVAILABLE AT ANYTIME ANYWHERE:

Whenever and wherever I have a mobile, I have my friend Google. Google never says “NO” to my questions available at anytime any place.

BEST ADVICER:

When I type or ask something it always gives me bundles of advices to select the one which I need the most a t the time. Not only advices but also new ideas.
“BEST  PART OF MY BEST FRIEND IS THAT IT’S JUST NOT MY BEST FRIEND NOWADAYS EVERYONE IS TAKING ADVANTAGE FROM ITS EXCELLENCE”
“AND THE WORST PART IS WHEN I NEEDED MY FRIEND MOST (DURING EXAMS) IT WASN’T THERE AND DEFINITELY CANNOT BE THERE”
I should say thanks to the technologies which gave me a friend like Google from all of our youth, which make my life so easy that I can access the whole world easily.

Does your friend have more qualities the mine?

Politics in Karachi university “A dirty one”

Students political parties should represent us but they make our lives actually harder ku has often called a microcosm of our country, there are violent displays of political hatred and bureaucracy.

One of the many political groups in our uni is the Islami-Jamiat-e-Talaba Pakistan, much like our religious groups in country, students from this enjoy guiding students to righteous, my friends and me I hate it when more extreme members of party forbid us from sitting in co education groups with male friends, I mean it’s none of their business everyone has their own self respect, we better know how to take care of ourselves.

On other end of students politics power spectrum is APMSO the basis, PSF. Neutral student proudly claim that they hate dirty politics but the fact is sometimes these own neutral students are ones that exploit political parties for their own purpose.

At time, student finds the presence of these parties truly irritating, activist calls of classes and exams at their own convenience, now we have learnt to live with this reality and perhaps it’s a good thing, because when we leave our mini Pakistan, whether or not, these student political parties run’s country’s international affairs in future but they should know the power to use the responsibility

My Day

It was my birthday and everyone in my school was asking for the treat. I wanted to celebrate my birthday in a different way to make it speacial so even if I leave the school, my birthday will be remembered for years. What I did, I bought a pot, painted it nicely and wrote a small note "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" mentioning my date of birth and planted it . I put that pot in the corridor. After a month , I have observed a change that the corridor was beautifully decorated with number of such pots which cause more attractive and
healthy environment in the school.
This has made me feel really special. Although, who has planted the pot did it for making their day special but it then not only stay special to them only. This has made many people feel good and also motivated them for a good. "Every small effort brings noticeable change,
indeed!!"

                                Way to Mass Communication

When my contemporaries use to play different games, I love to watch television. Watching News, Talk shows, and Dramas was my Hobby.  And you know what, I have got my imaginary TV Channel and I made programs for that. I know it’s a funny thing but reality.

Later on, I’ had decided to Take Mass Communication as My Major Subject for Bachelors
I know you People are thinking how intelligent student I was. But thing was not as simple as it seems to be.

Taking Media Subjects for a Visually Challenged person was not normal thing for our society.   My Family and Close Friends endorsed the Decision But when Ever I asked for suggestion and Guidance from my Elders they discouraged me. And suggested me to take Subjects like English, Urdu, Pakistan Studies and Islamiat. So That I Can Become A Teacher.

Teaching is the most adoptable Profession by the Blind Persons. Indeed it is a very comprehensive Profession, but I want to do something in Media. I Know it’s a Very risky thing For Person With Visual Impairment in Our Society   But Yeah I have Got my B and C plan ready.

After Completion of Inter mediate, I had applied in Karachi University for Department of Mass Communication along with English, Sociology, Psychology and International Relation. Contrary to My Expectation, I got My Name in Mass Communication. It was unbelievable thing for Many People. In fact, when I went my Department to visit Before the Classes I Came across a Girl, Student of Final Year. When I told her that I have got Admission there, she asked me to show Official document. After Conformation she remarked
“I think U Got Admission here by Mistake, go to Admition Office and get it corrected”. This is not all, One day; a very Important Person of the Department called me in her Office, and said: for your convenient, we are thinking to transfer you from MCD to another department. As this field is not for you.
In all situations, my reaction was very calm, I explained, I My Self preferred this Subject, I have already doing some work, and also associated with Radio. And I proposed the laptop method and some more ideas. She really liked my thoughts and allowed me to give my exam on computer. With that approval, I have become the 1st Student who gives his Exam with the help of technology in the history of Karachi University.

I ‘have been lucky enough to have well educated, broad minded and cooperative Teachers in the Department. Now, People with visual Impairment are taking Admission in the Media Field. In fact, two more students have been enrolled in my Department, and few are waiting. But where is my class fellow’s stand? What is their role in this?  I know you want to know all this. It’s a vary long story, will write a special blog on it. Till then stay connected.

The ‘irony’ – a tale of an overseas Pakistani (part3)

Just a few days ago, sitting in class and waiting for the teacher to arrive,my friends and I got involved in a conversation which I am sure every Pakistani irrespective of the place they are in, end up talking about.
Yes. It was indeed about the current happenings in Pakistan, the target killing, phone snatching, suicide attacks and all that.
It wasn’t my first time talking about such issues;but it definitely was the first time that I saw all these with a different perspective. There was something about a statement my friend had passed that kept me thinking. It was indeed her realization that struck me!
‘You know, I just realized, despite being in the city classified to be ‘the most dangerous’, I haven’t experienced anything. Let it be someone getting shot in front of me, being in the crowd where there is a suicide bomb attack or perhaps even in a public bus getting robbed.’
I don’t understand what was there in those simple words that got to me. I started evaluating it all, because I am one of her. The one who haven’t faced any of these tragic situations, the one, who if ever asked about the situation in her country or city, would without any hesitation say ‘Oh there is nothing happening, everything is very normal!’
It isn’t like I am not grateful to the fact that I haven’t been the ‘victim’. But if I haven’t ever experienced it the way those innocent souls had been involved in such devastating moments of their life then who gives me the right to whine?
Why am I the one always complaining about it all? Why am I the one making myself look like an innocent victim? The one who needs justice? The one who needs change?
To be very honest, it doesn’t bother me any more if there is target killing or a murder. In fact, I have lost count of the people getting killed every day. Usually, I immediately skip the metropolitan section of the newspaper. If one part of the city is under attack, I go eat in a restaurant in the other.
Does that mean I have become heartless and ignorant? If so, then why do I still hold conversations about how the situation in my city/country is getting worse day by day? Why do I try hard to connect dots and look for answers?
Unfortunately, I am not the only one. Surprisingly, at least one individual of every household thinks the same.
Lives a happy life.Does nothing about the surrounding. Yet, complains about it all!
Now here is what I think. It may be wrong to many under different grounds.
Remember how we dress up good and behave properly in a posh restaurant, only because we want to give a positive impression. That is it, the reason behind those constant whining and complaining.
We want things in our country to get better so that people we move around with think we are just as good as they are. We look at the citizens of countries who have a better living standard! Right there is the bench mark they set;the one that everyone should follow. Hence, bridge gap between the developed and the developing.
So we whine; strive hard to become one of them.
However, do we ever look at the countries which are worse than ours or talk about how Pakistan being better than so and so and feel blessed?
Of course not! We don’t have time to think about it because we are too busy pointing fingers. After all we are humans, and we have a tendency to do so. Isn’t it?

WHAT IS SUCCESS? STRUGGLING TO SURVIVE IS NOT LIVING..

The person who tries to live alone will not succeed as a human being. His heart withers if it does not answer another heart. His mind shrinks away if he hears only the echoes of his own thoughts and finds no other inspiration. – (Pearl S. Buck)
I don’t think there is right or wrong as to how we define success. The term itself is a subjective thing, so what success means to you might be different from what it means to me or other people, and this is perfectly fine.
Most people tend to equate success with money. That is, the more money you make, the more successful you are. But under this definition one could argue that a drug dealer who makes millions of dollars annually is a very successful person, but I wouldn’t call him successful, because the impact he has on the life of other people is very pessimistic.
Take the example of Bill Gates. He is the founder of MICROSOFT, the worldwide leader in software who created one of the most successful open source projects to date  that help people and businesses to realize their full potential.
I am not sure how rich he is, but even if he was broke I would call him a successful person, because he had a huge impact on the lives of people from around the world.
Believe that if you are intelligent and know how to use your intelligence, you can reach your goals and targets. Success is neither a destination nor a achievement, But its a constant journey of hard work, willpower, passion which help us to attain and accomplish milestones in our life.

You really can take control of your life and succeed. Unfortunately life does not come with a manual. Most people struggle through life and wonder why they never get anywhere. You do not have to be one of them ,  your life should be yours to command.

So in order to maintain success in the journey should go on and on.
Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful. - Albert Schweitzer

As to how I would measure up to this definition, I would consider myself both successful and fortunate.
So….. what is success? I would love to know what success means to you for me
Success is to know about my weakness, work upon it and win over them.

Failure is not meant for humans it is meant for materials. Failure only tells us to do better than before and do take them as challenges as it would prove life changing.

                            @#$&’S OF OUR LIVES

If your friend is not insane he’s not even your friend …… true friend tend to be the most insane person you’ve ever met in your life, his pointless dramas won’t end and you dare not to get bore.
Boredom will never be known to a person who has a handful of insane friends. There are categories of insane friends more insane the one is, truer his friendship will. Talking about the categories: 1st partially insane is the one who will listen to you when you are upset and then give you the most silly ideas and force you to think what heavenly on earth make him say that. It’s the starting whenever someone does like this it means the strong bond of friendship is going to be tied soon but the ultimate insane and the even more ultimate friend will stop you between the story and will ask “CHAL CHOR NA YAAR TERA TO KBI RONA HE KHATM NHI HOTA MJHE BHOK LG RHI HY KIA KHILA RHE HU”.

And believe me after eating with your friends (not to mention insane ones) problem will be little lesser a problem. Slang words are not abusive if pouring like rain from the mouth of a friend. Life is beautiful with friends and they are the one who know the inner you, the real you that is why they have solutions to every problem, they don’t have to put effort in making you smile and they are God damned good with what we call “be izzati”.

Interesting Mistake

In life everything is being changed by the time but not memories and the most important element was some mistakes which we had done with our group friends, sometimes we do such funny mistakes which we can’t realized at that point in time but in later when we run through our past moments in mind or with some other friends so smile is come automatically on our faces and a sentence in our mind “hamara koi kuch nahi bigaar sakta” and if a mistake done by our one group member then we said “humare group ka banda hai hum saath dein gay” no doubt it’s really a memorable moment because after doing such type of mistake we all were in tension but also enjoying because we were unite and sincere with our so called mistake.
Our group name was apple group it’s a most energetic and breathtaking group all members of this group were extremely brilliant at their own places we always get ready for enjoyment of any type it may possibly be hangout, taking lift, leg pulling and fighting also. The most important thing is that components of our group were not reducing at any cause it’s got enlarge only.
We had our Urdu paper that day, we were not happy with our Urdu teacher not only our group but whole class. Well in morning we all preparing for our exam through miscellaneous scheme of doing paper, after a long wait while we were doing such type of preparation. Some of our group members running with the high speed towards the department in the direction of the classroom.
We presume that may be teacher has come so we get up and follow their path when we get in the classroom they all were laughing and told us that they flatten the wheel of a car at that time they can’t even completed their story immediately a guard come and point out a girl from our group, we all were stand still and in tension hardly we changed our position in approximately 2 second Urdu teacher has come and take that girl with her. Guard didn’t know other two of us, he can’t identify that girl also but he remembered her pink dress by which he recognized her immediately. We all of us follow that girl and Urdu teacher.
Paper was delayed for some time all class know about that heartbreak story but all were happy by their heart and doing prayers for cancellation, one of our group fellow said on these types of prayers that “mehnat hum karen phal tum sab khao”.
Well we all went to the teacher for that girl and asked forgiveness of our mistake which was not done , YES the car wheel  was remain as same  as it is however the guard have seen us thus we have do apologies for undo mistake. Teacher was not accepting our apology and said that “I will do fail all of you” there nothing in our hand so we return back to our class for paper and also know our result.
One of our group fellow said “ma’am poore apple group ki taraf se aap ko sorry” but that was our good luck she can’t hear that innocent sentence from him otherwise we all get out of paper. In some days Urdu result has come as we all know that we failed but want to know the result “WOW” WHAT THE MARKS WE GOT in Urdu paper 25 , 04 , 35 and so on out of 100 marks. After seeing this we have a question in our mind but not able to asked from our teacher that “ye bhi kyun diyen.”
Some kind of mistakes are imprinted on our mind, which we never ever forget whatever the situation is but memories will be remain fresh in whole life.

Film Industry of Pakistan
LOLLYWOOD is the word we all know . this the name of PAKISTAN film industry which has been suffering from crises since 80's.the first thing that we are the muslims and our religion does not permit us of many of things showing or exposing in related to this field.we thought that this is just due to our own people who are not able to make interesting movies or any science fiction movies or any love story type movies but in my opinion we are ourself responsible for the dissaster of our film industry .

Going back, the golden years (1966-1977) saw the best of Pakistani Cinema. The ban on Indian films left no choice for the cine goers but to watch Pakistani films and with the introduction of colour and scope/wide screen the film business flourished to great heights. Today at this time and moment the Pakistani Film industry stands at a crossroad where a dark wave of failure hinders it from achieving its potential.
This loss started being felt in the late 70's and early 80's, when VCR and pirated Indian movies started being available in the market. Indian Films created ripples as films like Aradhnah,Amer Prem, Sholay, Deewar, Abhiman,Anand and many more were appreciated by the Pakistani audience. These movies not only became popular in Pakistan; but also expanded to worldwide stardom. With this their quality improved alarmingly as their market was much larger and higher budgeted films were feasible.

Filmmakers, by then in Pakistan, started feeling the pinch of the loss of the audience because of VCR and its subsidiaries. The demand was high for a number of films but the budget was not increasing due to high taxation and control on ticket price. As Pakistani audiences were unable to see Indian films, a trend in copying Indian films came into existence. The makers started going to Kabul to see Indian films and subsequently started producing a copy of the same here. The originality of scripts was lost to a great extent, which resulted in the downfall of Pakistani Film industry.
Now then in 2000's the indian movies and entertainment industry fully spread in pakistan legally but also a good sign was come into existence that our print media also got the license to add electronic media and entertainment media by the PTA .this time becomes the revolution gor pakistan media and after that entertainment industry achieves alot of succes and it makes a good impact on the drawning pakistan film industry .
The lollywood actors who were commonly unknown by the majority of people in pakistan got famous due to their acts in TV shows ,dramas and comedy in pakistan entertainment media.after the year 2008 , with the contribution of GEO pakistani movie "KHUDA KE LIYE" released and it gol the world wide publicity and the liveless indusrty of pakistan starts surviving by its own stories and after that many movies released like BOL , AINA , ME HU SHAHID AFRIDI and many others .

due to the disaster of our industry our treasurfull singers also leaves pakistan and sings for other country but now due to this revolution they are coming back and realizing that here is also a bright future for the people related to film industry.

                              Is this called School?

I started teaching as a profession 4 years before. When i was in 11th standard. I didn’t used to go college because of my busy routine, instead of college i continue my studies in evening with coaching environment of my city.
In my teaching life i experiences lots of memories and got meetings with the peoples having different school of thoughts.

In that period of my life i personally feel something which i wanna share with u all.
There are two school of thoughts surviving in this profession. First is to make schools the hub of knowledge and second to spread knowledge on the power of stick.
First day at work. I thought it will b good day with children of the classes my  Headmistress assigns me as a class teacher of class 4. Bell rings, its my time to go in class I went in my class all the kids smiled and welcome me as there new teacher. That was really good to see. As I ended my intro to the class my headmistress come in my class and ask me to read a chapter just and start giving them work.

I asked Mam then how will they understand what are they writing about. She replied you should focus on the syllabus time is short complete 2 chapters in one period. I was just like.. what is she trying to do. It’s a school or what where kids have to complete the written work only, no one cares about what they learned, everyone is just busy in giving heavy home works. Well later in recess time I asked form the senior teacher about what she do, I thought may b she will tell how she deals with kids. She said they only wait for the 1st week of the month when they get their salary other then that they mostly don’t take classes in the last months of the section because they had already completed the syllabus.

I felt very bad about the kids that they are so much afraid of their teachers that they don’t even ask questions. They are regular just because they scared so much by the punishment they got by the their school and by their parents. Poor innocent kids don’t find a way out just of heavy load of homework and afraid of schools cant learn what they should in true mean.

Right at this very moment, I finally understood why we fail to produce good students who seek learning and gain wisdom from their lives the way they are supposed to. It’s because we turn their schooling into a prison sentence. Every single aspect of their 6 hours spent daily at the institution assumes them as lowly savages who need to be tamed and disciplined in every possible way to turn them into civilized beings.
The irony of the matter is, the treatment with which they expect to turn these kids from savages to self-respecting individuals is the prime cause that makes them more of that same savage in the first place. Drawing from my own experience of schooling and now seeing the young kids at the schools , I really believe that not just the core pedagogy, but all the rituals attached to the notion of education plays a crucial role in repelling young minds away from the joys of learning.

The schools rules which are so difficult to adopt by the kids but they have to. Schools never consider on the way of teaching the thing matter for them is school should b strict then parents will come over to get admission for their children. Moreover schools now just want fame only, they don’t care for the students that’s why most of the school owners don’t have there own kids in there schools, because even they don’t believe that there school is good for there kids.

How does one even expect them to be excited to come to school if that’s what they are subjected to everyday for 6 hours? I can make my peace with the ugly uniforms; but there is a simple solution to the bag problem and half of the world already knows it: lockers. The teachers already have it so why can’t students?
Then, there is the issue of constant bickering and nagging to ‘walk in the line’, ‘don’t stand in the corridors’, and countless other similar pronouncements made copiously every day. I know most people would find this argument invalid on the basis such as ‘there needs to be a certain decorum in school’, or the classic ‘rules are made for our own good’; but here’s the thing: there’s something about these wonderful rules which is not working because despite all the training in discipline and propriety given at school, our kids are getting more rebellious and boisterous than ever.

My argument is simple: the rules are fine, there is nothing wrong with having some code of conduct established in an institute of formal education; but the problem lies in the implementation of these rules.
When you assume all teenagers to be devoid of any modicum of pride and self-respect and treat them like a trainer treats a wild animal in order to domesticate it, you mis-assume the most fundamental rule of human interaction: what you give is what you get.

The simple opinion which i gonna rise here is to give students, the rite to lead their lives...to do what they want and to lead confidently.

i know most of the peoples would not agree with my opinion. But i think the freedom to think gives help in exploring the world and prison-ness is just a way to mess the confidents n personalities.

                  EDUCATION SYSTEM OF PAKISTAN

Okay we need to accept it Pakistan is facing a worst turning point of political financial and economic crises. People are committing suicide attempts on daily basis but the question arises that what are the reasons for all this heartbreaking circumstances ,well there are many but what I would like to consider is our education system.

Even after 66 years of independence education system is rather not changed none of the leaders did services for welfare or education system we desperately need education that produces socially responsible ,thoughtful and well-informed individuals equipped with a mind sets that can readily accept the country’s diversity of languages ,culture and religions .The goal must include imparting a sufficient skill and knowledge level to enable employability and participation in a modern society.

Social awareness is a very common factor and that is most deprived most of our people live in rural areas and the literacy rate is the least even we invest lowest GDP in education.

So now, instead of reinventing the wheel,we need to speadily begin the process of implementation after crirtically evaluating the detailed reports and recommendations made by specialist international and national teams and ministery of education should take serious steps in betterment of our education and class system in it should be completely abolished and all should be treated on same grounds.
